The MPM54522 is a dual 6A power module that integrates two high-efficiency, step-down DC/DC converter ICs, two inductors, and selected passive components onto a single, over-molded package.

The two outputs of the MPM54522 can be paralleled for up to 12A of current. The power module offers an active current-balancing function that allows equal current sharing for the outputs in parallel operation.

The MPM54522 offers a dedicated, configurable low-dropout (LDO) regulator with up to 500mA of output current (I_OUT) to provide ultra-low noise output.

The MPM54522 adopts constant-on-time (COT) control to provide fast transient response and minimize the required output capacitance.

The MPM54522 provides on-chip non-volatile memory (NVM) to store and restore device configurations. Operation parameters, timing, and protection thresholds are fully configurable via the I²C bus. The MPM54522 offers on-chip voltage sensing that allows accurate input voltage (V_IN) and output voltage (V_OUT) telemetry via the I²C bus.

The MPM54522 is available in an ultra-thin ECLGA (5mmx6.5mmx2.76mm) package.
