Description

The MPQ70171FS-AEC1 is a power management IC (PMIC) designed to power a variety of processors and system-on-chips (SoCs) that are used in automotive safety systems. The device features 5 integrated synchronous buck converters along with 4 low-dropout (LDO) regulators.

The MPQ70171FS-AEC1 provides multi-phase operation for the buck converters, where 4 of the 5 buck converters can be configured as two dual-phase or one quad-phase converter. In addition, 13 GPIO pins with multiple functions per pin provide flexibility for a variety of systems.

The user-configurable state machine (UCSM), I²C interface with packet error checking (PEC), and integrated multiple-time programmable (MTP) memory allow for a high degree of configurability.
