The MPQ70170FS-AEC1 is a power management IC (PMIC) designed to power a variety of processors and systems-on-chip (SoCs) used in automotive safety systems. It features five integrated synchronous buck converters and four low-dropout (LDO) regulators. The buck converters offer multi-phase operation, and four of the five buck converters can be configured as two dual-phase converters or one quad-phase converter.
The integrated 13 GPIO pins with multiple functions per pin provide flexibility for a variety of systems. The user-configurable state machine (UCSM), I2C interface with packet error checking (PEC), and integrated multiple-time programmable (MTP) memory allow for a high degree of configurability.
The MPQ70170FS-AEC1 is an ISO 26262 hardware-capable device developed under MPS's advanced MPSafeTM Functional Safety Product Development process, which has been independently certified.
The MPQ70170FS-AEC1 is available in a QFN-56 (8mmx8mm) package with wettable flanks, and is available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
