Active Balancers

MPS offers a growing family of active balancers, where battery cells in series are balanced by transferring the charge between cells, as an alternative to the passive balancing method of discharging cells to a common level. MPS’s active balancers enable faster cell balancing, less heat generation, higher energy efficiency, and increased system runtime. Our active balancing solutions are designed to be simple, small, and cost-effective.
