Description
The MPQ7902-AEC1 is a power management IC (PMIC) with abundant protection features for automotive applications. It consists of a high-voltage (HV) primary synchronous buck converter, a low-voltage (LV) secondary synchronous buck converter, and a synchronous boost converter with excellent transient response and high efficiency.
Full protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown.
The MPQ7902-AEC1 implements a configurable watchdog with window and Q&A modes. In addition, different configurations can be easily obtained via the serial peripheral interface (SPI). The one-time programmable (OTP) memory allows the desired settings to be permanently stored. SPI transactions are protected using cyclic redundancy check (CRC).
The MPQ7902-AEC1 is available in a QFN-34 (6mmx6mm) package, and is AEC-Q100 qualified.
