Description

The MP1676H is a synchronous, rectified, step-down switch-mode converter with built-in, internal power MOSFETs. It offers a very compact solution to achieve 6A of continuous output current (I_OUT) across a wide input supply range.

The M1676H operates at a high efficiency across a wide I_OUT load range based on MPS's proprietary switching loss reduction technique and internal low on resistance (R_DS(ON)) power MOSFETs.

Adaptive constant-on-time (COT) control provides fast transient response, facilitates loop stabilization, and provides tight output regulation.

Full protection features include over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and thermal shutdown.

The MP1676H requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components, and it is available in a space-saving SOT583-8 (1.6mmx2.1mm) package
