The MPQ7970-AEC1 is a power management IC (PMIC) designed to power a variety of system-on-chips (SoCs) with a requirement for multiple low-dropout (LDO) regulators.

Five linear LDOs can provide up to 350mA of load current per channel. Three independent voltage inputs allow for different input voltage levels to optimize dropout for their respective outputs. There are four GPIO pins that can be used for power sequencing and two voltage monitors, including one differential monitor to monitor two external voltage rails.

Protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), under-voltage protection (UVP), over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown.

The I²C interface features packet error checking (PEC) and integrated one-time programmable (OTP) memory to allow for configurability.

The MPQ7970-AEC1 is available in a TQFN-24 (5mmx5mm) package. It is available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
