Description
The MPM4710 is a high-efficiency buck-boost power module with an integrated inductor. The device can operate from a 1.2V to 5.5V input voltage (VIN) range to provide between 1.5V and 5.5V of output voltage (VOUT). It can also operate at input voltages above, below, or equal to VOUT.
Current-mode control with pulse-width modulation (PWM) frequency improves stability and transient response. For low-noise applications, pull the MODE/SYNC pin high to make the part operate in fixed-frequency PWM mode under all load conditions.
The 2MHz fixed switching frequency (fSW) allows for small external components, while internal compensation and soft start (SS) minimize the external component count. The MPM4710 is available in a small ECLGA-14 (2.5mmx2.5mmx1.2mm) package.
