Description
The MPQ8645 is a fully integrated, high-frequency, synchronous buck converter. The MPQ8645 offers a very compact solution that achieves up to 30A of output current (IOUT), with excellent load and line regulation across a wide input supply range. The MPQ8645 operates at high efficiency across a wide IOUT load range.
The MPQ8645 adopts an internally compensated constant-on-time (COT) control mode that provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The switching frequency (fSW) is 800kHz and remains constant regardless of the input and output voltages. An open-drain power good (PG) signal indicates whether the output is within its nominal voltage range.
Fully integrated protection features include over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP).
The MPQ8645 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components, and is available in a TQFN-25 (4mmx5mm) package.
