Description
The MP9931 is a high-voltage, synchronous step-down switching regulator controller that can directly step down voltages from up to 100V. It is capable of driving dual N-channel MOSFETs.
The MP9931’s adaptive constant-on-time (COT) control architecture provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The DC auto-tune loop provides good load and line regulation. Pulse-skip mode (PSM) and ultrasonic mode (USM) enable asynchronous operation to optimize light-load efficiency.
The MP9931’s operating frequency can be configured via an external resistor or synchronized to an external clock for noise-sensitive applications. Fault protections include precision input over-voltage protection (OVP), output over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown.
The MP9931 is available in a QFN-23 (4mmx4mm) package.
