Description
The MP8850 is a fully integrated, stackable, synchronous buck converter with an I2C interface. It provides a complete power solution that integrates the control and power stage, offering excellent efficiency across a wide load range.
By adopting MPS’s proprietary, multi-phase constant-on-time (MCOT) control, it provides ultra-fast transient response and minimizes the required output capacitance (COUT). The I2C interface provides digital configurability and key parameter monitoring.
The device features full protection functions, including over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-voltage protection (OTP).
The MP8850 is available in a compact LGA-26 (3mmx4mm) package.
