The EVQ7935-LWT-00A evaluation board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MPQ7935-AEC1, a power management IC (PMIC) that integrates four high-efficiency step-down DC/DC converters, a low-dropout (LDO) regulator, and a flexible logic interface.
Constant-on-time (COT) control in the DC/DC converters provides fast transient response. The 2.1MHz fixed switching frequency (fSW) during continuous conduction mode (CCM) greatly reduces external inductor and capacitor requirements. Full protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown.
The output voltage (VOUT) is adjustable via the I2C bus or can be preset by the one-time programmable (OTP) memory. The power-on/off sequence is also configurable via the OTP memory and can be controlled via the I2C bus online.
The EVQ7935-LWT-00A is a fully assembled and tested evaluation board. The MPQ7935-AEC1 is available in a TLGA-29 (4.5mmx4.5mm)package with an exposed pad, and is AECQ100 qualified.
