Description
The MPC22163-130 is a two-phase, non-isolated, high-efficiency step-down power block. The device has two independent outputs that can be used separately or in parallel. It can achieve up to 130A (65A/phase) of output current (IOUT) across a wide input voltage (VIN) range.
The integrated MOSFET drivers and inductors provide high efficiency and a small footprint, which makes the MPC22163-130 well-suited for server applications.
The MPC22163-130 offers many features to simplify system design, and can work with controllers with a tri-state PWM signal. It also includes an accurate current sense for inductor current (IL) monitoring, as well as a temperature sense for junction temperature (TJ) reporting.
The MPC22163-130 is available in an LGA-72 (9mmx10mmx7.65mm) package.
