EVL8796K-V-1PHASE-00A

The EVL8796K-V-1PHASE-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP8796K, a fully integrated, high-efficiency, digital, synchronous step-down converter. It can deliver up to 30A of continuous output current (I_OUT), with excellent load and line regulation across a wide input voltage (V_IN) range. It achieves high efficiency across a wide I_OUT range.

The MP8796K features MPS’s proprietary multi-phase constant-on-time (MCOT) control, which provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The MCOT control scheme also allows multiple MP8796K devices to be connected in parallel, with excellent current sharing and phase interleaving for high-current applications.

The EVL8796K-V-1PHASE-00A can be turned on and off via a remote on/off input (CTRL), which is referenced to ground (GND). This input is compatible with commonly used logic devices.
