EV2752-C-00A

The EV2752-C-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP2752, a highly integrated, bidirectional charging solution for 2-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries.

The MP2752 employs an inductorless switched capacitor architecture. It can provide up to 10A of output current (I_OUT) in forward mode and up to 5A charge current (I_CHG) in reverse mode.

The MP2752 is suitable for applications ranging from a 1-cell battery to a 2-cell configuration. When used with a 2-cell battery, the solution can be treated as a virtual 1-cell battery, allowing the existing downstream 1-cell power architecture to be compatible with a 2-cell battery pack.

The I²C interface offers complete operating control, charge/discharge parameter configuration, and status monitoring.

The MP2752 is available in a WLCSP-42 (2.9mmx2.55mm) package.
