Description
The MPQ7260-AEC1 is a buck-boost converter with two integrated low-side power MOSFETs (LS-FETs). The device can deliver up to 100W of peak output power (POUT) at certain input supply voltage (VIN) ranges with excellent efficiency. It offers a very compact solution to achieve up to 5A of continuous output current (IOUT), with excellent load and line regulation.
The MPQ7260-AEC1 works with a configurable switching frequency (fSW) for all buck, boost, and buck-boost modes. One special buck-boost control strategy provides high efficiency across the full VIN range and smooth transient response between different modes.
The device integrates an I2C interface and one-time programmable (OTP) memory to provide flexible, configurable features.
Fault protections include constant current (CC) limiting, output over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown (TSD).
The MPQ7260-AEC1 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components, and is available in a QFN-20 (3mmx5mm) package. It is available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
