Description
The MPQ5071N-AEC1 is a load switch designed to provide 1A of load protection across 0.5V to 5.5V input voltage (VIN) range. With the small on resistance (RDS(ON)) in a tiny SOT563 package, it provides a highly efficient, space-saving solution for infotainment, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), or other automotive applications.
With the soft start (SS) function, the MPQ5071N-AEC1 can avoid inrush current during start-up. The device also provides a configurable soft-start time, output discharge functions, over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown.
The maximum load at the output (N-channel MOSFET source) is limited via an internal current limit. This is accomplished by utilizing a sensing FET topology. An internal charge pump drives the gate of the power device, allowing a very low RDS(ON) DMOS power FET.
The MPQ5071N-AEC1 is available in a tiny, space-saving SOT563 package, and is available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
