Description

The MPQ29261-AEC1 is a fully integrated, high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down switch-mode converter with 2-bit voltage identification (VID). It offers an ultra-compact solution that can achieve up to 18A of continuous output current (I_OUT), with an adjustable current limit (I_LIMIT).

MPS’s proprietary switching loss reduction technique and internal low on resistance (R_DS(ON)) MOSFETs allow the device to operate at high efficiency across the wide I_OUT load range.

Adaptive constant-on-time (COT) control provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The DC auto-tune loop works with the differential remote sense to provide excellent load and line regulation.

Full protection features include over-current limitation (OCL), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and thermal shutdown.

The MPQ29261-AEC1 requires a minimal number of standard external components, and it is available in a QFN-19 (3mmx4mm) package. It is AEC-Q100 qualified.
