The MP2731 achieves 1.8A of continuous output current over a wide input supply range, with excellent load and line regulation. Current mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Fault condition protections include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MP2371 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components. The MP2371 is available in a QFN-8 (2mmx2mm) package.
