The EV5470B-L-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP5470B, a complete power management solution that integrates four high-efficiency, step-down DC/DC converters and a flexible logic interface.
Constant-on-time (COT) control provides fast transient response. The configurable switching frequency (fSW, up to 1.6MHz) reduces the external inductor and capacitor size significantly. Full protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown.
The output voltage (VOUT) can be adjusted via the I2C bus or can be preset by the three-time programmable multiple-time programmable (MTP) memory e-fuse. The power-on/-off sequence can also be configured via the MTP.
The MP5470B requires a minimal number of external components, and it is available in a space-saving QFN-22 (3mmx4mm) package.
