At the 2024 World Electronics Achievement Awards ceremony, the MIE1W0505BGLVH, MPS’s ultra-small, isolated power module, won the “Annual Power Management/Voltage Converter Product” award. In industrial applications, such as programmable logic controller (PLC) systems, keeping the transmission isolated while managing moving signals and power requirements can be challenging. The MIE1W0505BGLVH isolated power module is designed to provide a robust electrical isolation barrier for signal transmission, with a selectable 5V or 3.3V output, and up to 1W of output power — in a tiny package 90% smaller than traditional options.
