10A, 2:1, Switched Capacitor Converter

Description

The MP2753 is a highly integrated switched capacitor converter solution for 2-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries. It uses a dual-phase switched capacitor architecture that does not require an inductor, and can provide up to 10A of output current (I_OUT) with ultra-high efficiency.

The MP2753 is suitable for applications migrating from 1-cell battery to 2-cell battery configurations. Combined with a 2-cell battery, the MP2753 can be treated as a virtual 1-cell battery, allowing the existing downstream 1-cell power architecture to be compatible with 2-cell battery packs.

The I²C interface offers complete operating control, parameter configuration, and status monitoring.

The MP2753 is available in a WLCSP-42 (2.9mmx2.55mm) package.
