EV2752-C-00A Bidirectional, 2:1/1:2, Switched Capacitor Converter Evaluation Board
The EV2752-C-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP2752, a highly integrated, bidirectional charging solution for 2-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries.
The MP2752 employs an inductorless switched capacitor architecture. It can provide up to 10A of output current (IOUT) in forward mode and up to 5A charge current (ICHG) in reverse mode.
The MP2752 is suitable for applications ranging from a 1-cell battery to a 2-cell configuration. When used with a 2-cell battery, the solution can be treated as a virtual 1-cell battery, allowing the existing downstream 1-cell power architecture to be compatible with a 2-cell battery pack.
The I2C interface offers complete operating control, charge/discharge parameter configuration, and status monitoring.
The MP2752 is available in a WLCSP-42 (2.9mmx2.55mm) package.
