Description

MPS's Battery Pack Complete Solution Modules (BPCSMs) provide battery management for 7-cell to 16-cell lithium-based battery packs. The BPCSMs consist of a control board and a power board. The control board includes an MPS battery monitor and fuel gauge, combined with a microcontroller unit (MCU) and passive balancing circuitry. The power board includes high-power MOSFETs and a high current shunt resistor.

The combined solution accurately measures each cell’s voltage, current, and temperature, and reports comprehensive battery estimations, such as state-of-charge (SOC). The BPCSMs include fault monitoring to protect the system by disabling charge or discharge, with an extensive set of customizable configurations.
