The EV8773EN-00A is an evaluation board for the MP8773EN, a monolithic synchronous buck regulator.
This EV board can deliver 3A continuous load current over an operating input voltage 4.5V to 23V. High efficiency power conversion is achieved through the use of synchronous rectification techniques.
Current mode control is implemented, which provides fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limiting.
This EV board can be turned on or shut down via a remote ON/OFF input that is referenced to ground. This input is compatible with popular logic devices.

Monolithic 3A,23V, 500kHz Synchronous Step-down Converter
The MP8773 is a monolithic high frequency synchronous rectified step-down switch mode converter with built in internal power MOSFETs. It offers a very compact solution to achieve more than 3A output current over a wide input supply range with excellent load and line regulation. The integrated low side FET achieves 19mO for high efficiency. The MP8773 operates at high efficiency over a wide output current load range. Current mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The device also uses proprietary AAM operation for high efficiency. Full protection features include OCP and thermal shut down. The MP8773 is available in space saving 3mm x 4mm 14-pin QFN and 8 pin SOIC with exposed pad packages.
