The EVQ7200-L-00B evaluation board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MPQ7200-AEC1, a high-frequency, constant-current LED driver with integrated power MOSFETs. The MPQ7200-AEC1 offers a very compact solution to achieve up to 1.2A of continuous output current (IOUT), with excellent load and line regulation across a wide input supply range.
Constant frequency hysteretic control mode provides extremely fast transient response without loop compensation. The 1.15MHz switching frequency (fSW) in buck-boost mode is optimized for efficiency and thermal performance.
The MPQ7200-AEC1 is available in a space-saving QFN-19 (3mmx4mm) package. The EVQ7200-L-00B is a fully assembled and tested buck-boost mode LED driver evaluation board. It generates an LED current up to 1.2A across a 6V to 20V input voltage (VIN) range.
