The EVQ4423C-L-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MPQ4423C-AEC1, a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down switch-mode converter with built-in power MOSFETs. The MPQ4423C-AEC1 offers a very compact solution to achieve 6A of peak output current (I_OUT), with excellent load and line regulation across a wide input supply range.

The MPQ4423C-AEC1 provides synchronous mode to achieve higher efficiency across the I_OUT load range. It also provides current mode to achieve fast transient response and ease loop stabilization.

Fault protections include current limiting in hiccup mode, output over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown (TSD).

The MPQ4423C-AEC1 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components. It is available in a QFN-16 (3mmx4mm) package.
