Optimized Performance with MPS Inductor

The EVBL4423A-Q-00A is an evaluation board for the MP4423A and MPQ4423A, and is optimized for MPS's MPL-AL6060 series of power inductors. The MP4423A and MPQ4423A are high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode converters with built-in power MOSFETs. They offer a very compact solution to achieve 3A of continuous output current (I_OUT), with excellent load and line regulation across a wide input supply range. The MP4423A and MPQ4423A have synchronous mode operation for higher efficiency across the I_OUT load range.

Current-mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Full protection features include over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown. The MP4423A and MPQ4423A are available in a QFN-8 (3mmx3mm) package.
