The EV1475S-J-00A evaluation board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP1475S, a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down converter with a built-in high-side and low-side MOSFETs (HS-FET and LS-FET, respectively). The MP1475S offers a compact solution to achieve 3A of continuous output current (I_OUT), with excellent load and line regulation across a wide input supply range. The MP1475S provides synchronous mode operation for higher efficiency across the I_OUT load range.

Current mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Full protection features include over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown (TSD).

The MP1475S is available in a space-saving TSOT23-8 package.
