Monolithic Power Systems ("MPS") respects the privacy of candidates for employment. This Candidate Privacy Notice sets forth how MPS, and where applicable, its affiliates process personal data collected in connection with your application for employment through this site or otherwise during the recruitment process.

  • MPS may also collect personal data, where permitted by applicable law, from references, former employers, educational institutions, government authorities, and background check providers in connection with verifying information relevant to your application.

2) Purposes of Processing

  • Conduct selection process, and process your application; evaluate your qualifications; conduct interviews and assessments; and make hiring decisions.

  • Communicate with you regarding the application, career opportunities and the recruitment process including any interviews.

  • Contact you for other, future roles that may be of interest to you and aligned with your skillset, where permitted by applicable law, and where required, with your consent.

  • Perform analysis for the improvement of the recruiting process.

  • Register/manage after onboarding

  • To confirm your eligibility to work and your suitability for the role

  • To carry out background checks, where necessary and relevant to the role and permitted by applicable law

  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements

3) Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis on which MPS processes your personal data will depend on the nature of the personal data, the purpose for which it is processed, and the applicable law in the relevant jurisdiction, and may include compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interest, steps taken prior to entering into an employment relationship, and, where appropriate, consent.

4) Storage Period

MPS will store the candidate’s personal information for as long as necessary to carry out the recruitment process and for any additional period permitted by applicable law.

At the end of the applicable retention period, MPS will delete your data in accordance with applicable law.

5) Sharing of Personal Information

MPS may share the candidates’ personal information described in 1) above with affiliates, and group companies, and with service providers and other third parties that support the recruitment process to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes described in 2) above and as permitted by applicable law.
