The EVQ9843-L-00A evaluation board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP9843 and MPQ9843. The MP9843 and MPQ9843 are configurable-frequency (350kHz to 2.5MHz), synchronous, step-down switching regulators with integrated, internal, high-side and low-side power MOSFETs (HS-FET and LS-FET, respectively). The MPQ9843 is AEC-Q100 qualified.

They provide up to 3A of highly efficient output current (I_OUT) with current mode control for fast loop response. These devices employ advanced asynchronous modulation (AAM) mode, which helps to achieve high efficiency under light-load conditions by scaling down the switching frequency (f_SW) to reduce the switching and gate driver losses.

The EVQ9843-L-00A is a fully assembled and tested evaluation board. It generates 5V of output voltage (V_OUT) at load currents up to 3A from a 5V to 36V input voltage (V_IN) range, with a 450kHz f_SW.
