The EVQ5817-V-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the performance of the MPQ5817-AEC1, a 42V, 15A integrated smart diode with reverse protection. 

The MPQ5817-AEC1’s 2µA standby current (I_STBY) makes it ideal for battery-powered applications. The device integrates a 5mΩ N-channel MOSFET and an internal charge pump, which support nominal loads up to 15A of continuous current and minimize power loss between the input and output. The ultra-fast transient response allows the part to rectify AC frequencies up to 100kHz.

In addition to reverse polarity protection and reverse pulse protection, the MPQ5817-AEC1 also provides multiple diagnostics during fault conditions, such as under-voltage protection (UVP), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), and over-temperature protection (OTP).

With an extremely low under-voltage lockdown (UVLO) threshold, the device provides a wide operating voltage range to meet the harsh start-up conditions defined in the ISO 16750 standard. The device also supports cold crank voltages down to 0V.

The MPQ5817-AEC1 is available in a QFN-21 (4mmx5mm) package, and is available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
