The EVL8880A-V-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP8880A, a fully integrated, high-efficiency, synchronous step-down converter with a wide input voltage (VIN) range and up to 4.5A of output current (IOUT).
The MP8880A adopts current mode to provide fast transient response and simplify loop stabilization. The device implements full protection features, including under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown. The MP8880A supports paralleled operation with up to 4 phases for a higher IOUT. Refer to the MP8880A datasheet for more detailed information.
The MP8880A is available in a QFN-20 (4mmx5mm) package.
It is recommended to read the MP8880A datasheet prior to making any changes to the EVL8880A-V-00A.
