The EVL87270-2PHASE-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP87270, a monolithic half-bridge driver with built-in, internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. The evaluation board can deliver up to 140A of continuous load current across a wide input supply range.  

Quiet Switcher^TM Technology (QST^TM) utilizes a proprietary circuit design that can only be achieved in a monolithic architecture to suppress voltage ringing. This technology limits peak switching voltages, improving device reliability, lowering EMI emissions, and reducing sensitivity to PCB layout.

The MP87270 offers many features to simplify system design. The MP87270 works with the MP2985B controller with a tri-state pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal, and features Accu-Sense^TM current sensing to monitor the inductor current (I_L) and temperature sense to report the junction temperature (T_J).

The MP87270 is ideal for server applications where efficiency and small size are at a premium. The MP87270 is available in a TLGA-30 (4mmx5mm) package.
