Design Documentation for Open-Source Ventilator
Design Documentation for MPS Open-Source Ventilator
As part of our open-source project approach, we have begun making available supporting documentation for our V1 prototype system. This page will be updated as new or updated versions of our design documentation is made available. Our design is still in development and has not been tested or approved for use in any application, clinical or otherwise. By downloading any of the documentation we have provided, you accept the terms in the MPS Ventilator Documentation Additional Terms and Conditions, which is also included with each file download.
Items included in Documentation Download:
Operational Notes - Explanation of operation and functions of our V1 prototype.
Mechanical Build Notes - Explanation of mechanical design and fabrication/assembly notes for our V1 prototype.
High Level Circuit Diagram - High level circuit diagram for our V1 prototype.
Parts List, Commercial - List of commercial parts for our V1 prototype.
Parts List, Fabricated - List of fabricated parts and notes for our V1 prototype.
3D CAD Models, STEP - Full assembly of V1 prototype components in a single .STEP file. Note that not all fasteners/hardware are included in the model.
3D CAD Models, SolidWorks 2017 Format - Full assembly of V1 prototype components including individual part files compatible with SolidWorks 2017 and newer (compiled via SolidWorks pack-and-go function). Note that not all fasteners/hardware are included in the model.
MCU Code – Main Arduino program file and supporting files to interface with our MPS Smart Motors.
