直列2セルのバッテリーパックは、シングルセルのシステムよりもより高いピーク放電電力をともなうアプリケーションに選択されており、よくある例としては、モータ、オーディオんプ、または大型ディスプレイなどが挙げられます。一般的なアプリケーションとしては、ノートPC、ワイヤレススピーカ、モバイルPOS、DSLRカメラ、さらにUSB PDのモバイルバッテリーなどがあります。MPSは、入力電力ソースの種類および最大充電電流の大きさによって、直列2セルアプリケーションにいくつかの異なるチャージャトポロジーを提供しています。USB Type-Cコネクタを使用している15Wのアプリケーションには、セルバランシングやパワーパスといった先進機能がある昇圧チャージャを提供しています。さらに高い電力のUSB Power Deliveryアプリケーションには、最大6Aの充電電流を提供することができるFETを内蔵した昇降圧チャージャをそろえています。産業機器のように固定電源電圧があるアプリケーション向けには、最大40Vの高電圧降圧チャージャを提供しています。
