2.5A, 35V, Bipolar Stepper Motor Driver Evaluation Board
The EV6501A-F-00A is an evaluation board for the MP6501AGF, a stepper motor driver with a built-in microstepping translator.
The board operates from a 8V to 35V supply voltage range, and can deliver a motor current up to 2.5A. It can drive a bipolar stepper motor
in full- half-, quarter-, and eighth-step modes by setting MS3, MS2, or MS1. The input control signals and reference voltage for the MP6501A are applied through the connector, or generated on the board.

2.5A Bipolar Stepper Motor Driver
The MP6501A is a stepper motor driver with a built-in micro stepping translator. It operates from a supply voltage of up to 35V and can deliver motor current up to 2.5A. The MP6501A can operate a bipolar stepper motor in full-, half-, quarter-, and eighth- step modes. Internal safety features include over-current protection, input over-voltage protection, UVLO and thermal shutdown. The part has a fixed 3.3V reference output, which allows it to operate without any control power supply and work with any microcontroller. Ron of the switches is as low as 230mO. Current sensing is done by external resistors. The MP6501A comes in a space-saving TSSOP-28 package with exposed thermal pad.
