The kit allows for quick evaluation of the PMIC and offers One-Time Programming (OTP) capabilities, which allow users to program custom configurations, supporting a wide range of designs.

5V PMIC with High-Efficiency 4.5A/4A/2.5A/2A Four Step-Down Converters, Five LDOs with I2C and OTP

The MP5416-0001 is a complete power management solution that integrates four high-efficiency, step-down, DC/DC converters, five low-dropout regulators, and a flexible logic interface.
A constant-on-time (COT) control DC/DC converter provides fast transient response. The 1.5MHz default fixed switching frequency during continuous conduction mode (CCM) reduces the external inductor and capacitor values greatly. Full protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown.
The output voltage is adjustable through the I2C bus or pre-set by the one-time programmable (OTP) function. The power on/off sequence is also programmable by the OTP or can be controlled through the I2C bus online.
The MP5416-0001 requires a minimal number of external components and is available in a space-saving, 28-pin QFN (4mmx4mm) package.


I2C communication to configure, read, OTP and monitor system.

MP5416 I2C GUI with OTP allows full read and write access to the MP5416 registers through I2C. This GUI allows for full programming configuration to the MP5416 utilizing OTP. This software is designed to help you more easily use the MP5416 with I2C function.

Communication Interface Device USB to I2C/PMBus, included with product evaluation kit or can be purchased separately. 

The EVKT-USBI2C-02 is included with product evaluation kits, or it can be purchased separately. EVKT-USBI2C-02 provides the communication interface for USB to I2C or USB to PMBus. It is designed to work with MPS I2C and PMBus products, and Virtual Bench Pro, and I2C GUI tools. USB driver will install automatically or download directly.
