Description
The MPQ9934-AEC1 is a high-voltage, synchronous, step-down switching regulator controller that can directly step down voltages from 80V. It integrates the gate driver of two N-channel MOSFETs for high-side (HS) and low-side (LS) switches, which can be used for high-power applications.
The MPQ9934-AEC1's adaptive constant-on-time (COT) control architecture provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The DC auto-tune loop provides excellent load and line regulation. In addition, the device can support dynamic output voltage (VOUT) adjustments through the VSELx pins with ramping up and ramping down slew rate control.
The 100kHz to 1MHz switching frequency (fSW) can be configured via an external resistor for different system requirements. The MPQ9934-AEC1 offers a configurable soft start (SS) via an external SS capacitor.
Available fault protections include precision output over-voltage protection (OVP), output over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown.
The MPQ9934-AEC1 is available in a QFN-23 (4mmx4mm) package with wettable flanks, and is available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
