EVL8880-V-00A 60V, 4A, High-Efficiency, Digital, Configurable, Synchronous Step-Down Converter Evaluation Board


The EVL8880-V-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP8880, a fully integrated, high-efficiency, synchronous step-down converter with a wide input voltage (VIN) range and 4A of output current (IOUT).
The MP8880 adopts current mode to provide fast transient response and simplify loop stabilization. The MP8880 implements full protection features including under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown. The MP8880 supports paralleled operation with up to four phases for a higher IOUT. Refer to the MP8880 datasheet for more detailed information.
It is recommended to read the datasheet for the MP8880 prior to making any changes to the EVL8880-V-00A.
