This PC-based GUI allows the user to configure and evaluate the MP2790 via the I2C or serial peripheral interface (SPI) communication interface, depending on the specific MP2790 that has been selected. A configuration panel is provided to set the protection thresholds, enable all relevant functions, and set the corresponding faults. A monitor and control panel is provided to monitor the cell and pack measurements, including the voltage, current, and temperature.
