Description
The MIE1W0505BGY-5R-AEC1 is an automotive-grade, isolated, regulated, DC/DC power module that can support 3V to 5.5V input voltage (VIN) applications. It has excellent load and line regulation, supporting up to 1W of output power (POUT).
The device features an integrated power MOSFET, transformer, and feedback circuit all in one chip, achieving excellent performance and saving size. When the output voltage (VOUT) is below the target VOUT, the IC starts switching to deliver power from VIN to VOUT. On the other hand, if VOUT rises to the target VOUT, switching stops.
The MIE1W0505BGY-5R-AEC1 uses capacitive isolation technology for the feedback block, which can regulate VOUT without the need for a traditional optocoupler and configurable voltage reference. This module provides a small size and highly reliable operation compared to traditional isolated power modules. It also features continuous short-circuit protection (SCP) and over-temperature protection (OTP).
The MIE1W0505BGY-5R-AEC1 is available in a small SOIC-16 wide-body (WB) package.
