The EVQ6619-R-00A evaluation board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MPQ6619-AEC1, an H-bridge motor driver. The device has a 2.7V to 28V input supply voltage (VIN) and can achieve up to 5A of current. The MPQ6619-AEC1 is ideal for driving a brushed DC motor.
The MPQ6619-AEC1 has cycle-by-cycle current limiting (ILIMIT). For ease of use, the output polarity can be controlled by pulling the IN1 and IN2 pins high or low.
Full protection features include over-current protection (OCP), input over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage lockout (UVLO), and thermal shutdown. The MPQ6619-AEC1’s input control signals are applied via the connector or generated on the board.
It is recommended to read the MPQ6619-AEC1 datasheet prior to making any changes to the EVQ6619-R-00A. The MPQ6619-AEC1 is available in a QFN-19 (4mmx4mm) package.
