Monolithic Power Systems Ranked 18th in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for Silicon Valley Software & Information Technology Companies
Continued Delivery of Innovative Semiconductor Products Enables MPS to Post Five-Year Revenue Growth of 760%

SAN JOSE, Calif. November 6, 2007 -- Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) (Nasdaq: MPWR), a leading fabless manufacturer of high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Silicon Valley, a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies in the region by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2002–2006.

“Our ranking on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a testament to our commitment to continuously deliver innovative, leading-edge products to the market,” said Michael Hsing, CEO of MPS. “We are pleased to receive this honor for the second year in a row, and look forward to continuing to innovate and grow in the years to come.”

“Sustaining high revenue growth over five years is an exceptional accomplishment,” said Mark Jensen, partner and national director, Venture Capital Services, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “We commend MPS for making the commitment to technology and delivering on the promise of market longevity. We are proud to honor MPS to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50.”

A 760 percent increase in revenues from 2002 to 2006 ranked MPS 18th in the Software & Information Technology category of the Technology Fast 50 for Silicon Valley.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and $5,000,000 in 2006, be headquartered in Silicon Valley, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.

This year’s Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 program is co-presented by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and Silicon Valley Bank, Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, Korn/Ferry International, and Woodruff-Sawyer & Co.
